Repetive Strain Injury, often shortened to RSI, is a general term used to describe pain from nerves, muscles and tendons due to repetitive movement and overuse.
Certain things are thought to increase the risk of RSI, including:
- Doing the same activity without rest for an extended perioid of time
- Doing activities that involve force
- Poor posture or tasks that require you to be in an awkward position
- Low temperatures
- Vibrating equipment
