What is asthma and its' symptoms
Asthma is a long-term condition that can cause wheezing, breathlessness or a cough. The condition itself is quite common. Symptoms may vary greatly from person to person. Asthma can be controlled well, and this is the case for the majority of people.
Asthma is caused by inflammation of the airways. The airways are small tubes, called bronchi, carrying air in and out of the lungs. The bronchi will be inflamed and more sensitive than normal, should you have asthma.
